hi, noticed recently that when the engine is cold, when im sitting at traffic lights or whatever. the speedo twitchers and goes upto 5mph or 10mph then goes back to zero even though the car is sitting with the handbrake on. if i put the clutch in or give the engine some revs then the speedo drops to zero where it should be.. soon as the car warms up a little it stops twitching..
anybody know what the crack is with it ?

Re: speedometer twitching when cold
Hi bud,
I have a similar issue that has progressed further to my speedo twitching every time i come to a stand still.
As i understand it means that the speedo cable is loose either at the back of the clocks or at the other side.
hope this has helped
Nick
