Awesome, was gonna look at a race tube to try bring out the deep but if its deep and throaty thats great!

Iv heard people say it before but looked into it and found their fine. Been in front of plenty of police cars with it and no trouble.

I think it's a bit of a grey area. Surely if anything the reason would be because their fairly loud?

Yeah i guess so, a straight through exhaust would be to much for it?

Yeah I think they used to be illegal but people had them with decats as well so they were extremely loud.

I'm fairly certain my car was nctd with a cherrybomb last year but I'm not sure, it could have been fitted afterwards

As long as your exhaust is under 99db and passes emissions they can't fail an exhaust
If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway :thumbs:

Johnny was just looking through your project thread there and if im not mistaken i think your car failed nct with the backbox because it was too loud

Yeah but that was a sportex system with a straight pipe, I'm still passed off about it since he did the noise test with doors closed so there was a big echo and another Car getting it emissions tested right next to mine not to mention he revved to high and the exhaust made a big pop coming down the revs so it was nowhere near an accurate test
