how do i get the middle section of my exhaust off

i have just spent the last few hours trying to get the middle section of my exhaust off and have failed i have been hitting the box with a hammer and a bit of wood but no joy.

It has moved abit but its not coming off

Whats the best/most affective way to get it off

PLEASE HELP

about all you can do
get generous with the WD40 and a good deal of shouting and swearing will help

they are an absolout pain!

just phoned round a few places see if they could do it for me and the answer was


NO. GAY!

Might sound stupid but whats the best way/place to raise the car up to work under it???

did mine on some metal ramps just reversed it up and got under that way

like i said best just absolutly soak the joint in WD40 and then a hammer and some wood and just bang and shout and swear and eventualy it will come off
or if ur replacing the center box with a straight thru pipe, could always just hacksaw thru the pipe...

Ladies and Gentlemen, The middle section is off, cut down and back on, backbox sounds sweeeeeeeet

haha, this is true

Right just took it for a test drive and the exhaust is now banging, any ideas???

id say ether your backbox isnt secure right or the pipe is hitting on the rear torsion bar
mine was the same because the backbox hung down too low, had to higher it up just got smaller exhuast rubbers.

where did you get these smaller rubbers from Octane mate? i think that would sort it , at the min iv put some zip-ties around the rubber months to make them smaller (if that makes sense) seems to have worked, but would prefer smaller rubbers TBH
