Hi guys,
Well most of you wont suffer from this because you've fitted a new back box anyway but for us bog standard back boxed corsa's does anyone else suffer from a clanking/knocking noise coming from the rear passenger side of car?
Its been happening for a while and I've been puzzled about what it is, thought it was something in the boot but nope, emptied the boot and it was still happening.
Then I just happened to come across this post in the all corsa forum
http://www.allcorsa.co.uk/forums/showth ... 11488.html
and thought, BINGO that is EXACTLY what it sounds like.
NOOOOW for the tricky part, can anyone explain to me what he said the two solutions are in a more simpler term, preferably with suggestions on where to get the bits and bobs from please
You've probably gathered by now I'm not a car wizz

Re: Knocking noises at back of car.
basically all he is saying is either:
fit small exhaust rubbers so the back box will sit a bit higher
or
loosen the clamp that joins the backbox to the middle secton and ttwist the backbox a bit and re-tighten the clamp....
i had to do it to mine when i fitted an aftermarket backbox..
most people have to do it because its a comon thing on corsa's
give it a go and see how you get on....
