Engine Conversion
I'm thinking of maybe converting my 1.2 8v to either a 1.4 or 1.6, which one would be easier to fit, engine mounts etc.. don't want to go any bigger than 1.6 as eventually want is as a daily. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Engine Conversion
There both the same, use the block just 1.6 is bored out abit
It really depends on which engines are available to you, if a c14se or c16se grab it over any of the others, these where the sri/gsi engines in the early 90s

If it doesn't fit,
force it,
If it breaks,
It needed replacing anyway

Re: Engine Conversion
Are these straight swaps without changing the engine mounts ?

Re: Engine Conversion
I'm fairly certain that all smallblock 8vs use the same mounts
